Welcome to Fort Gordon, Georgia, home of the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence. Fort Gordon is a multi-service community of Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, and multinational forces. The base is home to the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence, the U.S. Army Signal Corps, and the U.S. Army Cyber Corps. Located near Augusta, Georgia, you're sure to feel the small-town Southern charm. Across more than 55,000 acres, service members utilize more than 49 training areas and 11 ranges. Fort Gordon supports a population of approximately 80,000, including military families, contractors, retirees, and others. Nearby towns include Augusta, Blythe, and Hephzibah. If you're just arriving on orders, enter through one of the three gates and check in with your command, unit, and or sponsor. If you have civilian visitors coming to see you, they will need to stop at the Visitor Control Center at Gate 6 to register for their unaccompanied passes. Off-duty, you'll have plenty to do without leaving base. You'll find favorites like a round of golf, horseback riding, bingo, camping, and more. Augusta offers ample recreational activities just outside the gates, with restaurants, museums, nightclubs, ballet, music, and so much more. Looking to get outside? Lake Olmstead and the Savannah River are a few local gems. Fort Gordon has many resources available, so take advantage and enjoy your time at your new duty station. Forge and protect power.
