Visiting? You'll need a pass from the Visitor Control Center. Sponsors must request a Shark Pass, what Patrick SFB calls a Visitor Pass, at least five business days in advance. Bring valid ID, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance. Inspections are possible. Off-duty, the Space Coast delivers. The East Gate is open 24-7. South Gate runs 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Visitor Control Center is open on weekends. On base, you'll find a commissary, exchange, medical and legal offices, fitness and recreation centers, and family-friendly activities from bowling to water sports.
