Sally Rejas
Army
Sally Rejas is an 82nd Airborne Division Combat Disabled Veteran. She served in the U.S. Army from 2001-2008, where she began her career as a finance specialist, working for the 82nd Airborne Division. She was deployed to Iraq from 2005-2006.
Following her military service, Sally built a successful 20-year career in government service and is now pursuing her Doctorate in Strategic Leadership at Liberty University. Presently, she has a master’s degree in Organization Management and a B.S. in Social Science from Ashford University, as well as an associate’s degree from Northern Virginia Community College.
She is deeply involved in her community as the first female Commander of the American Legion Post 27 in Richmond Hill, Georgia. Recognized as one of the 25 Most Influential Hispanics in Columbus, GA, and a Ms. Veteran America Stand Up Award recipient, Sally continues to lead through service. She enjoys life with her husband, retired MSG Daryl Rejas, their two children, and their three energetic fur babies.
