Army
Kim is a West Point graduate and former U.S. Army Engineer Officer who served two combat deployments to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. She led as both a Light Equipment Platoon Leader and a Headquarters Company Commander before transitioning to civilian life.
After leaving active duty, Kim dedicated herself to advocacy and volunteer leadership roles supporting military families at every level, from company to division. Her efforts earned her several national recognitions for volunteer service and family readiness leadership.
Today, she continues to champion military spouse and family quality-of-life initiatives through organizations like MOAA and AUSA. Kim is a proud military spouse and mother of two children who share her family’s deep legacy of service.
