Josh Whitfield

Josh Whitfield began his 20-year U.S. Air Force career teaching survival and jumping out of aircraft, but his aspiration to fly pushed him to become an officer and pilot.

During his service, he earned numerous awards: Pilot of the Year, the Meritorious Service Medal, and nine Aerial Achievement Medals. After retiring, he transitioned through the DoD SkillBridge program and joined Navy Federal Credit Union as a Product Strategist in Real Estate Lending. Then, he was promoted to Senior Experience Analyst in the Member Strategy Office.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys home improvement projects, gardening, fishing, and off-roading in his Jeep. Most importantly, he loves spending time with his wife and two kids, his favorite team of all.
