The relationship between the U.S. and Israel is strong but complicated. This figure adds to the already $17.9 billion worth of military aid provided by America to Israel, despite President Biden facing more and more criticism for supplying the nation amid rising deaths of Palestinian civilians.
Protests have broken out throughout the country and there have even been pauses to shipments of U.S. weapons to Israel; however, a deal has finally been struck to bolster the Middle Eastern nation once more.
While the list of U.S. weapons supplied to Israel is looking to grow, leadership within the House Foreign Affairs Committee or the Senate Foreign Relations Committee can still look at the package before it is finalized.
