It's a good thing that there are a lot of recreational facilities that people can visit. One is Camp Southern Ground, located in Fayetteville, Georgia, focused on spreading goodness and fun. It caters to children, military, and Veteran families. Thus, the camp is an excellent place to experience camaraderie, connect with friends, and enjoy good food. Camp Southern Ground for Veterans

The camp is not only focused on children building their well-being. It is also focused on Veterans who want help in finding their new path in life. The camp offers this for free so Vets can find direction, healing, community, and strength. Here are some of the programs you can avail:

Empower Transformation With the Warrior Week

This is the signature program of Camp Southern Ground; it is a 12-month well-being and transition activity. It aims to remind Veterans that they have a fruitful life waiting for them once they hang their uniform. Camp Southern Ground for Veterans uses a holistic approach to make every day better. The camp's activities have a lot to offer, which includes eating together, team-building exercises, hearing from world-class instructors, and developing a plan to move forward. Explore the Warrior Path Journey

At Camp Southern Ground, the Warrior Path allows Veterans to convert deep struggle into strengths. It is a 90-day program that focuses on peer-delivered training that starts with a 7-day immersive and intensive initiation. After that, there is a 3-month focus on training, accountability, support, and connection.Camp Southern Ground Veterans is also a proud partner of Avalon Action Alliance. The program was developed by Dr. Richard Tedeschi and Dr. Bret Moore. Additionally, it was created to help Veterans transform their combat stress into lifelong growth. Finally, all the instructors from this program have walked the roads of struggle to strength, making them credible for the role. 2024 Scheduled Dates:April 11-17May 2-8 (Women Only)August 15-21September 5-11 (Women Only)September 26 - October 2October 24-30November 14-20December 6-12

Discover the Warrior Family Camp Experience

Camp Southern Ground has always had a mission to serve Veterans and children. As a result, the family camp offers a mix of traditional summer camp and Veteran programs. Within three days, participants will engage in activities to help bring back their confidence. The family camp is for those with one parent/guardian, a Veteran, or an active duty personal. Once your application has been accepted, there is a $200 deposit. Then, you may process the payment via check or credit card. Lastly, the facility has a no-refund policy; if the family arrives late or does not show up, the deposit will be donated to Camp Southern Ground.Timetable for 2024:September 13–15November 1-3 November 22-24
