Zoi Angelakopoulou holds an MA in International Security from Sciences Po Paris, specializing in Middle Eastern Studies and Diplomacy, and a BSc in Political Science and Public Administration from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her expertise spans international security, Middle Eastern affairs and water governance, complemented by a six-month Arabic language program at the American University in Cairo and an intensive course on International Law from the Hague Academy of International Law. She has professional experience managing European Union-funded projects and in international diplomacy, including internships at UNESCO in Paris and the Diplomatic Office of the President of the Hellenic Republic. Her work has been published by the Institute for Research and Studies on the Mediterranean and the Middle East (IReMMO), NATO, and the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP). She is also the co-founder of AquaPolis, a youth-led think tank focused on water governance and global risks. She is fluent in Greek, English, and French, with intermediate proficiency in Arabic and German.
