Speaking of family Christmas movies, Elf is a great movie to enjoy. The movie follows Buddy the elf, who was accidentally brought to the North Pole as a toddler, and grows up as a human among Santa’s elves. Once he reaches adulthood, he goes on a quest to find his father. During this journey, he gets to know the human family he had been missing his entire life. This movie is one of the most recent on the list, but that does not take away from its great humor and heartfelt messages.

3. It’s A Wonderful Life

It would be a crime not to put one of the top Christmas movies of all time on this list. It’s A Wonderful Life follows George Bailey as he mentally struggles with many problems that lead him to almost end it all. However, his guardian angel shows him what life would be like without him, in the hopes of changing his mind. This movie is over three-quarters of a century old, and yet it is still a favorite to this day. This is because of its strong message and heartwarming ending.

For those who want to watch some Netflix Christmas movies, Klaus is perfect. When Jesper the postman proves to be the worst student in his academy, he is sent to a town where hardly any communication occurs. This includes mail. It is here that he makes some unlikely friendships. He also helps create a bond between the people of the town. This movie is beautifully animated with a wonderful story about friendship, kindness, and forgiveness. It is sure to melt any heart on Christmas.
