What to Know Before You Go to the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach

A trip to the Military Aviation Museum provides a unique experience. There are tons of exhibits, aircraft, and historical pieces to be admired. On top of it all, the friendly, knowledgeable crew is ready to help educate you along the way. You can find the museum at 1341 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23457. It’s open every day of the year from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm with the exceptions of Thanksgiving and Christmas. Admission is affordable and free for some groups. Here’s how it works:

  • Free to members and WWII Veterans
  • $17 for Adults
  • $15 for Seniors aged 65+
  • $12 for all Active Duty or Retired Military
  • $10 for Youth (ages 5-13)
  • Children under 4 are free
  • Discounts are available for large groups.

Looking for ways to honor our nation's military this Veterans Day? A trip to the Military Aviation Museum is the perfect weekend activity for the whole family. To celebrate Veterans Day this year, and as part of the History Rocks Campaign, the museum is hosting two showings of the movie The War To End All Wars on November 11th, 2023. The animated film tells the stories of World War I and highlights war heroes' epic tales. The first showing starts at 12:00pm and the second starts at 2:00pm. The movie is included with admission and seats are given on a first come first served basis.
