THE VA DISABILITY PAY RATES FOR 2025 ARE NOW IN EFFECT
On December 1, 2024, the VA disability pay rates for 2025 were released. Veterans receiving a disability rating of 10% or higher from the VA can receive payments due to their sickness or injuries related to military service. This includes both physical and mental conditions. The VA disability pay rates are increasing by 2.5%, as announced by the Social Security Administration. The 2025 VA disability pay rates are tax-free and increase according to the increase Social Security receives based on the cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) determined by the government.

Veterans who have a rating of 10%-20% will not receive extra compensation for dependents.
30%-60% Rates in 2025
70%-100% Rates in 2025
VA Disability Pay Rates 2025: Increases for Vets With Dependents
If you have a rating of 30% or higher and dependent children who qualify, additional benefits are available. Furthermore, parents who are dependents may also qualify Veterans with a disability rating over 50% for more benefits as well.
