Kate Gosselin and the Rest Are Headed to the Jordanian Desert
Special Forces: The Ultimate Test will pit some of the world’s best athletes against pop stars. You’ll also find famous reality television stars working to outpace actresses. Meet the cast that'll be competing to see if they have what it takes: Kate Gosselin Kate Gosselin became a household name after starring in the reality TV show Jon & Kate Plus 8, which depicted the life of her and her ex-husband as they worked to raise their family of sextuplets and twins. Jamie Lynn Spears You may know her as Britney’s little sister. You may know her as the star of Zoey 101. You may even think you know her from the tabloids. But Spears is here to show you a different side of her based in grit and determination. Will she have what it takes? Dwight Howard When you’re nearly seven feet tall, have played in the NBA for 18 seasons, and have a ring because of it, nobody is going to doubt your athleticism. But it’s going to take a lot more than physical strength for the 2004 number 1 overall pick to win this challenge. Carli Lloyd After fighting back against doubters early in her career, Lloyd’s illustrious career has too many trophies and honors to list. Most notably, she's a two-time FIFA Women's World Cup winner and an Olympian with two golds and a bronze. She’ll need her toughness and strength to overcome these obstacles. Danny Amendola You don’t win two Super Bowls in a 13-year NFL career without proving yourself on the football field. But while the toughness will translate, this will be a new challenge for an accomplished athlete and plenty of fun to watch as a fan. Hannah BrownBachelor nation favorite Hannah Brown has shown herself more than capable of handling the drama that comes with reality TV, but this is a much different challenge. She won’t be competing for love but rather to prove her toughness. But honestly, after Jed Wyatt, is that really in doubt? Mel B Mel B, a.k.a. Scary Spice, will be looking to ascend the ranks of Special Forces: The Ultimate Test with as much grace as she ascended the charts. She’ll need an “X-factor” to see it through if she’s to come out on top. Anthony Scaramucci As the former White House Director of Communications, Anthony Scaramucci found himself thrust into the spotlight after a quick dismissal under the Trump administration. After a fake stint on Celebrity Big Brother 2, he’s here in another show to put himself to the test. Mike Piazza When it comes to catchers, few names stand out more than ex-MLBer Mike Piazza. While he’s never met a challenge he couldn’t handle, he’ll be looking to hit one out of the park with a sizable test in front of him. Tyler Florence Tyler Florence is no slouch in the kitchen or when it comes to races, but the television celebrity chef has a new endeavor cooking up as he heads to Jordan. Montell Jordan There’s no doubt that Montell Jordan is ready to show us how to do it all over again, but the hitmaker-turned-worship-leader will have the odds stacked against him in some of the harshest environments known to man. Beverly Mitchell When the intensity and reality of the competition hit, Beverly Mitchell will be unlikely to feel like she's in heaven, nor will she find many faces smiling back at her. Either way, Mitchell will be looking to give it her all against the field. Gus Kenworthy Olympian, actor, and activist/icon in the LGBTQ+ community, Gus Kenworthy doesn’t shy away from any challenge. He’ll need his determination and toughness to overcome his fellow competitors. Nastia Liukin She has conquered the world and won multiple medals at the Olympics, including her gold at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Will Liukin keep her composure and balance the difficult training? Kenya Moore As a star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kenya Moore knows what it takes to perform even when all eyes are on her. Her reality TV credits and actress credits span many different genres and shows, but this is a long way from the ATL. Jordan could be her toughest challenge yet. Dr. Drew Between the duties of hosting a talk show and several reality television shows, it can be easy to forget that the “Dr.” isn’t just a gimmick. Dr. Drew is the real deal. He’s used to saving others, and now he’ll need to save himself from losing out on what's sure to be a daunting challenge.
American Special Forces Save Lives
While the cast will have to try and keep up with the insane training regimen fit for the likes of the Army Green Berets, Navy SEAL Team, or Marine MARSOC, what units like this do in real life can’t be measured against. When America needs operators to go into complicated situations and directly into harm, these are the people who do it. It doesn’t matter if it’s a covert mission to gain intelligence that saves lives or putting themselves into the heat of things to rescue hostages, American Special Forces Operators save the lives of those facing harm throughout the world.
