When Is Fleet Week in San Francisco?
San Francisco Fleet Week will be held October 3-11, 2022. It’s a week filled with plenty of festivities on the land, sea, and up above. Founded in 1981, Fleet Week in SF was started by Mayor Dianne Feinstein to celebrate warriors protecting our seas. During Italian Heritage Weekend, the SFFW continues to thrive in showcasing the Armed Forces and San Francisco while bringing together many communities. You’ll find a mix of both civilian and military coming together through training and education to help advance humanitarian efforts and ample networking opportunities. Today, Fleet Week in San Francisco continues to generate more than $10 million for the city in revenue and is also recognized by the U.S. Department of Defense as a shining example of what fleet weeks should be throughout the country.
