What Is Mission 22?

Mission 22 provides treatment programs for Veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury, and other conditions. To raise awareness and create social impact, the non-profit organizes various events and builds memorials. The non-profit was founded by Veterans and remains an organization run by Veterans, their spouses, and those who have family members who are Vets of the American Armed Forces. They offer a wide range of services for Veterans and their spouses, including wellness programs, educational resources, mental health resources, and biometric monitoring of various body levels. A major focus of the Mission 22 charity continues to be family. For this reason, the organization focuses on supporting spouses and helping Vets and their families remain strong. Through the Ambassador program, a network featuring over 3,500 Veterans and civilians from around the world, the organization works to advocate for active-duty military members, Veterans, and their families. The name Mission 22 comes from the startling statistic of 22 a day. Sadly, 22 Veterans lose their mental health battle and die by suicide each day. Mission 22 is working to help those at risk reach the resources they need to prevent these tragedies from taking place.
